2. Safety Information and Precautions
Before proceeding with installation, please observe the following critical precautions to prevent damage to the motherboard and ensure proper functionality:
- Always handle the motherboard by its edges to avoid touching sensitive components.
- Ensure you are properly grounded to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.
- Disconnect all power sources before installing or removing any components.
- Refer to the following video for important CPU installation warnings. Incorrect CPU installation can permanently damage the motherboard and void the warranty.

CPU Installation Warning:
It is crucial to install the CPU in the correct orientation. Forcing the CPU into the socket in the wrong direction will bend the pins, rendering the motherboard unusable. Such damage is not covered under warranty.
- Align the CPU notch with the bump on the CPU base.
- Align the CPU triangle logo with the #1 position of the motherboard's CPU chassis silkscreen.

3. Setup Instructions
- CPU Installation: Carefully align the CPU with the socket on the motherboard, ensuring the notch and triangle logo are correctly matched. Gently place the CPU into the socket without forcing it. Secure the CPU retention arm.
- RAM Installation: Insert one or two DDR5 RAM modules into the memory slots. Ensure the RAM is inserted in a perpendicular orientation and firmly seated until the clips on both sides lock into place.
- Peripheral Connections: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and monitor to the appropriate I/O ports on the motherboard.

- Power Supply Connection: Connect both the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin CPU power connector from your power supply unit (PSU) to the motherboard. Both must be connected simultaneously for proper operation.
- CPU Fan Installation: Install the CPU fan onto the CPU heatsink. Connect the CPU fan cable to the designated CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.
- Initial Boot: For the first boot, the motherboard needs to read the RAM information. This process may take approximately 3-5 minutes, depending on the RAM brand and capacity. Please wait patiently for the boot screen to appear.

Video 3: A detailed presentation of various motherboard models including N100, N150, N305, and N355, highlighting their features and design. This video offers a closer look at the N150's physical attributes.
4. Operating Instructions
Once the initial setup is complete and the system boots normally, you can proceed with installing your preferred operating system (e.g., Windows 10, Linux) onto a connected storage device. The motherboard supports diskless boot and network wake-up functionalities.
- Storage Configuration: Utilize the 6 SATA3.0 ports and 2 M.2 NVMe slots for your storage needs. SATA1 is native, while SATA2-SATA6 are extended via the JMB585 chip.
- Network Configuration: The 3 LAN ports (2*Intel i226 2.5G + 1*10G) provide flexible networking options for your NAS or router setup.
- Display Output: Connect displays via the 1 HDMI and 1 DP port, supporting synchronous or asynchronous dual 4K@60Hz display.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and stable operation of your motherboard:
- Keep the motherboard and surrounding components free from dust. Use compressed air to gently clean dust from heatsinks, fans, and memory slots.
- Ensure adequate airflow within your system's chassis to prevent overheating.
- Periodically check all cable connections to ensure they are secure.
6. Troubleshooting
If the motherboard does not boot or display an image, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- No Boot Screen After Initial Power On:
- Verify that the CPU is correctly installed and not forced into the socket. Refer to the "Safety Information" section.
- Check if the RAM modules are properly seated in their slots. Ensure the gold fingers of the RAM are not oxidized. If issues persist, try using a different RAM module or testing with only one module.
- Confirm that both the 24-pin and 8-pin power supply connectors are securely plugged into the motherboard.
- Ensure there is no dust or debris in the memory slots.
- Motherboard Alarms (Beep Codes): If the motherboard emits a series of beeps upon power-on, this typically indicates a hardware issue.
- If an alarm sounds after removing the RAM and powering on, it indicates the motherboard itself is functional, and the issue likely lies with the RAM. Consider RAM compatibility.
- It is recommended to use first-tier brands of RAM such as Samsung, Crucial, KingBank, or KLEV for optimal compatibility.
- Fan Not Rotating: Check if the CPU fan and power supply fan are rotating. If not, ensure all power connections are secure and the fans are properly connected to their headers.
