4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your RSHTECH 10-Port Powered USB Hub:

1. Connect the Power Adapter: Insert the DC 12V power adapter into the "DC 12V" port on the back of the USB hub. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet or power strip. Ensure a stable power connection for optimal performance, especially when connecting multiple power-hungry devices.
2. Connect to Host Device: Use the provided 2-in-1 USB-A/USB-C dual connector cable. Connect the appropriate end (USB-A or USB-C) to a free USB port on your computer (laptop, desktop, etc.). Connect the other end to the "HOST" port on the USB hub.
3. Connect Peripherals: Once the hub is connected and powered, you can begin connecting your USB devices (e.g., external hard drives, flash drives, keyboards, mice, cameras) to the available USB 3.2 and USB 3.0 ports on the hub.

5. Operating Instructions

The RSHTECH 10-Port Powered USB Hub features individual touch switches for each port, allowing you to control power and connectivity to specific devices.

• Activating a Port: To turn on a specific USB port, simply give its corresponding touch switch a short tap. The blue LED indicator next to the port will illuminate, signifying that the port is active and ready for use.
• Deactivating a Port: To turn off a specific USB port, press and hold its corresponding touch switch for approximately 2 seconds. The blue LED indicator will turn off, indicating that the port is now deactivated. This feature is useful for safely disconnecting devices or conserving power.
• Plug and Play: The hub is plug-and-play, meaning no additional drivers are required for most operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android). Simply connect and use.
