5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Panel Heater Installation

The Amaze Solo Panel Heater is designed for wall-mounted installation. The wall mount kit is included for easy setup.

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable indoor wall location, ensuring it is a flat, vertical surface. Avoid placing the heater directly under windows or in areas with direct drafts, as this can affect efficiency. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance from the floor and any adjacent walls or furniture.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the heater against the wall at the desired height and use a pencil to mark the four mounting holes.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall material. Insert wall anchors if necessary.
  4. Mount Heater: Align the heater with the drilled holes and secure it to the wall using the provided screws and spacers. Ensure the heater is level and securely fastened.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the heater's power cord into a standard 120V AC grounded electrical outlet.

6. Operation

Once installed and set up, operating your Amaze Heaters bundle is straightforward.

6.1. Convection Heating Principle

The Amaze Solo Panel Heater operates on the principle of natural convection. Cool air near the floor is drawn into the bottom of the panel, heated by the internal element, and then rises as warm air from the top. This creates a gentle, continuous circulation of warm air throughout the room, providing even and comfortable heating without the need for a noisy fan.

6.2. Temperature Control

The plug-in thermostat allows you to set and maintain your desired room temperature. Simply rotate the dial to the desired Fahrenheit or Celsius setting. The thermostat will automatically activate the heater when the room temperature falls below the set point and deactivate it once the set temperature is reached, ensuring energy efficiency and consistent comfort.

6.3. Energy Efficiency

The 400W power consumption of the Amaze Solo Panel Heater is designed for energy efficiency, providing effective heating for its rated coverage area while minimizing electricity usage compared to higher wattage heaters. The silent operation and lack of dust circulation contribute to a healthier and more comfortable indoor environment.

7. Maintenance

The Amaze Heaters Solo Panel Heater and Thermostat require minimal maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the surface of the heater and thermostat with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or wet cloths, as these can damage the surface or internal components. Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning.
  • Air Vents: Ensure the air vents at the top and bottom of the panel heater remain clear of obstructions to allow for proper airflow and efficient convection.
  • Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, unplug it, allow it to cool completely, and store it in a dry, dust-free environment.
