5. Installation

5.1 Pre-Installation Checks

  • Ensure your sink has a compatible hole configuration (1 or 3 holes). The included deck plate can cover 3-hole installations.
  • Confirm the drilled hole size is between 1.37"-1.5" and maximum deck thickness is 1.8".
  • Gather necessary tools: adjustable wrenches, screwdriver, plumber's putty or silicone sealant, flashlight.

5.2 Installation Steps

Follow these steps carefully for proper installation:

  1. Shut off water supplies: Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink. Remove the old faucet if applicable and clean the mounting surface. For first-time installation, flush the pipes by opening the angle valve for 60 seconds.
  2. Place deck plate (if needed): If using the deck plate for a 3-hole sink, place it on the sink with a non-staining silicone sealant underneath. Secure the deck plate.
  3. Install faucet: Insert the faucet body into the mounting hole. From underneath the sink, secure the faucet using the provided mounting hardware (rubber O-ring, washer, and mounting nut). Ensure the faucet is oriented correctly.
  4. Connect supply hoses: Connect the hot and cold supply hoses from the faucet to your water supply lines using adjustable wrenches. Avoid twisting or kinking the hoses. Ensure the net filter is attached to the connecting end.
  5. Install sprayer weight: Push the hand spray hose through the quick connector. Install the hose weight on the outlet side of the hose, near the loop, to ensure the pull-down sprayer retracts smoothly.
  6. Test for leaks: Turn on the water supplies slowly. Check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten connections as needed. Test the hand spray hose for proper retraction.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Water Flow and Temperature Control

The single handle controls both water flow and temperature. Lift the handle to turn on the water and adjust the flow rate. Move the handle left for hot water and right for cold water.

6.2 Pull-Down Sprayer Functions

The pull-down sprayer offers two distinct water modes:

  • Stream Mode: Ideal for filling pots and general washing.
  • Spray Mode: Provides a powerful spray for rinsing stubborn food debris from dishes and the sink.

Press the button on the sprayer head to switch between stream and spray modes. The sprayer features magnetic docking for secure positioning when not in use. The 360° swivel neck allows for full sink coverage.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Faucet

To maintain the brushed nickel finish:

  • Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
  • Wipe dry after cleaning to prevent water spots.

7.2 Aerator Maintenance

If water flow decreases, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the sprayer head, clean any debris, and rinse thoroughly before reattaching.

7.3 Ceramic Cartridge

The faucet features a durable ceramic cartridge designed for drip-free performance and long life. No regular maintenance is typically required for the cartridge itself, but if leaks occur from the handle, it may need inspection or replacement by a qualified professional.
