2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.2. Handlebar and Seat Adjustment

4.3. Battery Installation and Initial Charge

The 48V 15Ah battery may be partially charged upon arrival. For optimal performance and battery longevity, fully charge the battery before its first use. The battery is removable for convenient charging. Insert the battery into its compartment and ensure it clicks securely into place. Use the provided key to lock the battery. 4.4. Tire Pressure Check

5.3. Riding Modes and Pedal Assist

The EB5 MAX offers 5 levels of pedal assist (PAS). Level 1 provides minimal assistance, while Level 5 provides maximum assistance. You can also ride in pure electric mode using the throttle, or as a traditional bicycle with no electric assistance.

5.4. Gear Shifting

The bike is equipped with 7-speed gears. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears according to terrain and desired pedaling effort. Shift to lower gears for climbing hills and higher gears for flat terrain or downhill riding.

5.5. Cruise Control

To activate cruise control, reach your desired speed using the throttle or pedal assist, then press and hold the '-' button for a few seconds. The cruise control indicator will appear on the display. To deactivate, lightly apply the brakes or press any button on the display.

5.6. Braking System

The EB5 MAX features 180 mm dual disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Always apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for balanced and effective braking. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds or on loose surfaces.
