3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the tape measure's built-in Lithium Ion battery. A full charge provides approximately three hours of continuous runtime for the LED light.

1. Locate the USB charging port on the side of the tape measure.
2. Connect the provided USB cable to the tape measure and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).

4.1 Extending and Retracting the Blade

To extend the blade, simply pull the end hook away from the case. The blade will extend smoothly. To retract, release the tension, and the blade will automatically retract into the case. Use the lever lock to hold the blade at a desired length.
