ElfinAura 13'x13' Hexagonal Pop Up Gazebo Instruction Manual

Model: 13'x13' Pop Up Gazebo

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the ElfinAura 13'x13' Hexagonal Pop Up Gazebo. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new outdoor canopy tent. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

This gazebo features a sturdy metal frame, mesh netting for insect protection, and a waterproof, UV-resistant canopy, making it suitable for various outdoor activities and gatherings.

2. Safety Guidelines

  • Weather Precautions: Never leave the gazebo unattended, especially during adverse weather conditions. It may collapse or blow away in heavy wind or rain. Always take it down when a storm or other bad weather is approaching.
  • Stability: Always use the provided guy ropes and stakes to secure the gazebo to the ground. This enhances stability and prevents accidental movement or collapse.
  • UV Exposure: While the canopy offers UV protection, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight is not recommended. Be cautious of UV exposure while using the gazebo.
  • Assembly: Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. Do not attempt to assemble the gazebo alone; two or more people are recommended for safe and efficient setup.
  • Placement: Set up the gazebo on a level surface, clear of overhead obstructions and potential hazards.

4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps for quick and easy setup. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly.

  1. Step 1: Open the Canopy Frame. Place the folded frame in the desired location. With a partner, gently pull the legs outwards until the frame begins to expand. Keep the frame upright.
  2. Step 2: Cover It with the Canopy Top. Carefully unfold the canopy fabric and place it over the top of the partially opened frame. Secure the canopy to the frame corners.
  3. Step 3: Adjust the Height. Locate the adjustable buttons on each leg. Press the button and extend the legs to your desired height. There are three height positions available. Ensure all legs are locked into place at the same height.
  4. Step 4: Put It Up and Attach Side Walls. Fully extend the frame and ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged. Attach the mesh netting side walls to the frame using the integrated hooks and straps. Zip the panels together as needed.
  5. Step 5: Secure the Gazebo. Use the provided guy ropes and ground stakes to firmly anchor the gazebo to the ground. Attach ropes to the designated points on the canopy and secure stakes into the soil at an angle.

5. Operation

  • Height Adjustment: The gazebo features three adjustable height positions. To change the height, press the quick-release button on each leg and slide the inner leg to the desired position until it locks securely.
  • Mesh Netting: The six fully enclosed mesh screens protect against insects. Each screen has a dual-head zipper, allowing easy access from both inside and outside the gazebo. The netting can be tied back when not in use.
  • Ventilation: The double-roof design enhances airflow and helps reduce heat buildup inside the gazebo, providing a more comfortable environment.
  • Water Drainage: Drainage holes are integrated into the canopy to prevent water accumulation during light rain, ensuring the canopy remains taut and functional.

6. Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric and mesh netting with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Care: The powder-coated metal frame is rust-resistant. Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth as needed. Inspect the frame periodically for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods or during severe weather, disassemble the gazebo and store it in the provided carrying bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prolong its lifespan.
  • Inspection: Regularly check all connections, ropes, and stakes to ensure they are secure and in good condition. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Gazebo Instability: Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked into position. Verify that guy ropes are taut and stakes are firmly driven into the ground. If windy, consider lowering the gazebo to its shortest height or disassembling it.
  • Water Pooling on Canopy: Check that the canopy is properly stretched and secured to the frame. Ensure drainage holes are clear of debris. If pooling persists, adjust the frame tension.
  • Difficulty with Assembly: Refer to the assembly instructions and diagrams. Ensure all parts are correctly oriented. Do not force components; if parts do not fit, re-check the instructions or contact customer support.
  • Missing or Damaged Parts: Before assembly, carefully check all package contents against the list provided in Section 3. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not proceed with assembly. Contact ElfinAura customer support for assistance.
