3. Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your reukmuuc 5-in-1 Gas Multi-Tool. Ensure the engine is off and cool before assembly.

3.1 Main Unit Assembly

  1. Connect Drive Shafts: Insert the lower drive shaft section into the upper drive shaft section, aligning the locking pins. Secure them firmly.
  2. Attach Handle: Slide the loop handle onto the drive shaft and secure it at a comfortable position using the provided bolts and nuts.
  3. Attach Engine to Drive Shaft: Connect the engine power head to the upper drive shaft section, ensuring the splines engage correctly. Tighten the locking mechanism securely.
  4. Attach Shoulder Harness: Connect the shoulder harness to the designated attachment point on the drive shaft. Adjust for comfortable weight distribution.

3.2 Attaching Work Heads

To attach any work head (weed trimmer, brush cutter, hedge trimmer, pole chainsaw), ensure the engine is off. Align the work head's shaft with the lower drive shaft and engage the splines. Secure the attachment by tightening the locking knob or bolt.

  • Weed Trimmer/Brush Cutter: Ensure the guard is properly installed over the cutting head. For brush cutter, attach the metal blade securely.
  • Hedge Trimmer: Ensure the blade is clean and lubricated before use.
  • Pole Chainsaw: Install the guide bar and chain according to the instructions provided with the chainsaw attachment. Ensure proper chain tension and lubrication.

4. Fuel Mixing

This tool is powered by a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture of gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil. Do not use pure gasoline or 4-stroke engine oil.

  1. Recommended Mix Ratio: The recommended fuel-to-oil mix ratio is 25:1. Use high-quality unleaded gasoline (minimum 89 octane) and a good quality 2-stroke engine oil specifically designed for air-cooled engines.
  2. Mixing Procedure:
    • Use the provided fuel mixing bottle or an approved fuel container.
    • Pour the correct amount of 2-stroke oil into the container first.
    • Add the corresponding amount of gasoline.
    • Securely close the container and shake it thoroughly to ensure the oil and gasoline are completely mixed.
  3. Refueling:
    • Always refuel in a well-ventilated outdoor area.
    • Ensure the engine is off and has cooled down before opening the fuel cap.
    • Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.
    • Do not smoke or have open flames near the refueling area.

5. Operating Instructions

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your multi-tool. Always ensure the engine is off and cool, and the spark plug cap is disconnected before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Engine Maintenance

  • Air Filter: Clean the air filter regularly (every 5-10 hours of operation, or more often in dusty conditions). Remove the filter, clean with warm soapy water, rinse, and allow to dry completely before reinstallation. Replace if damaged.
  • Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug every 20-30 hours. Clean any carbon deposits and adjust the gap if necessary. Replace if worn or fouled.
  • Fuel Filter: Check the fuel filter in the fuel tank periodically. Replace if clogged.
  • Cooling Fins: Keep the engine's cooling fins clean to prevent overheating.

6.2 Attachment Maintenance

  • Weed Trimmer: Replace the trimmer line when it runs out. Inspect the guard for damage.
  • Brush Cutter: Keep the blade sharp. Sharpen or replace the blade as needed.
  • Hedge Trimmer: Clean blades after each use. Lubricate blades with light machine oil to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation. Sharpen blades as needed.
  • Pole Chainsaw: Keep the chain sharp and properly tensioned. Lubricate the chain and guide bar regularly with chain oil. Clean the guide bar groove and sprocket nose.

6.3 Storage

  • For long-term storage (over 30 days), drain all fuel from the tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor.
  • Clean the entire tool thoroughly.
  • Store the tool in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition.
