Setup Guide

1. Unpacking the Box

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The box should contain:

2. Battery Installation

For each handset:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
  2. Insert the two supplied AAA rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Connecting the Base Unit

For the main base unit:

  1. Connect one end of the telecom cable to the telephone wall jack and the other end to the TEL port on the main base unit.
  2. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the main base unit and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.

For the secondary base unit:

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the secondary base unit and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet. No telephone line connection is needed for the secondary base.

4. Initial Charging and Setup

Place each handset on its respective charging base. The handsets will begin charging. Allow at least 15 hours for the initial charge to ensure optimal battery performance.

Upon first use, the phone may prompt you to select a language. Initial setup typically begins in French and requires the main base to be connected to the telephone line for full configuration options.

Operating Instructions

Making and Receiving Calls

  • Making a Call: Press the green call button, then dial the number. Alternatively, dial the number first and then press the green call button.
  • Receiving a Call: When the phone rings, press the green call button to answer. The incoming call indicator light will flash.
  • Ending a Call: Press the red end call button or place the handset back on the base.

Hands-Free Function

During a call, press the speakerphone button (often indicated by a speaker icon) to activate hands-free mode. You can adjust the speaker volume using the navigation keys.
