Setup
1. Powering the Main Display Unit
The main display unit can be powered via the included USB cable or by 3xAA batteries (not included). For continuous backlight display, USB power is recommended. Batteries serve as a backup power source and will turn off the backlight after 10 seconds to conserve energy.
- USB Power: Connect the provided USB cable to the main unit and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- Battery Power: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and insert 3xAA batteries, observing polarity.

2. Installing Batteries in Wireless Sensors
Each wireless sensor requires 2xAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of each sensor.
- Insert 2xAA batteries into each sensor.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
The sensors are designed for stable signal transmission up to 500ft (150m) in open air. For optimal performance, place sensors in locations that minimize obstructions like thick walls or large metal objects. Each sensor has a channel switch (1, 2, or 3) inside the battery compartment. Ensure each sensor is set to a unique channel to avoid interference.

Operating Instructions
Display Overview
The 7.87-inch color digital screen provides clear and comprehensive data. It displays indoor temperature and humidity, along with readings from up to three outdoor sensors. Key sections include:
- Sensor 1, 2, 3: Displays temperature and humidity for each connected outdoor sensor.
- Indoor: Shows current indoor temperature and humidity.
- Forecast: Provides a 5-mode weather forecast based on barometric pressure changes.
- Pressure: Displays local atmospheric pressure and trends.

Temperature and Humidity Monitoring
The weather station features high-accuracy sensors with a temperature accuracy of +/-1.8°F and humidity accuracy of +/-5%. It instantaneously responds to minuscule environmental changes.

Weather Forecast and Pressure
The unit predicts weather conditions for the next 12 hours by analyzing changing atmospheric pressure. It automatically displays local pressure values and trends. You can manually set the pressure value and unit (inHg default or hPa).
- 5-Mode Forecast: Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Overcast, Rain, Thunderstorm.
- Frost/Snowflake Alert: If the temperature is between 33.8°F and 30.2°F, a frost and snowflake icon will flash. If it remains below 30.2°F for an extended period, the snowflake icon will stay on.

Temperature and Humidity Alerts
The weather station allows you to set temperature and humidity alarms. When the temperature or humidity exceeds a preset value, the unit will alert you to these environmental changes. This feature is useful for monitoring conditions in various locations such as kitchens, incubators, greenhouses, or wineries.

Adjustable Brightness
The display features 3 adjustable backlight settings: high, low, and off. When connected via USB, the backlight remains continuously on for clear visibility. On battery power, it automatically turns off after 10 seconds to save energy.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the display and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in the main unit and sensors when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Sensor Placement: While sensors are rated IPX4 (splash-proof), it is recommended to place them in sheltered outdoor locations to protect them from direct heavy rain or prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit | No power or low batteries. | Ensure USB cable is connected to a power source or replace AA batteries. |
| Sensor readings not appearing or intermittent | Sensor out of range, low sensor battery, or channel interference. | Move sensor closer to the main unit. Replace sensor batteries. Ensure each sensor is on a unique channel (1, 2, or 3). |
| Inaccurate readings | Sensor exposed to direct sunlight, heat sources, or moisture. | Relocate sensor to a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct heat/moisture. Allow time for readings to stabilize. |
