Setup
1. Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Connect the charging case to a USB power source using the supplied charging cord. The indicator light on the case will show charging status.

2. Initial Pairing
- Open the charging case with the earbuds inside.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Select "WF-C710N" from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Once connected, a voice guide will confirm the connection.
3. Sony | Sound Connect App
For enhanced control and customization, download the Sony | Sound Connect app from your device's app store. The app allows you to adjust ambient sound levels, customize equalizer settings, and manage touch controls.

Operating the Earbuds
Noise Canceling and Ambient Sound Mode
The WF-C710N earbuds feature advanced Noise Canceling and Dual Noise Sensor technology to filter exterior sound. You can switch to Ambient Sound Mode to stay aware of your surroundings. These modes can be toggled via the Sony | Sound Connect app or through the customizable touch controls.

Call Quality
Equipped with Precise Voice Pickup Technology and an AI machine learning noise reduction algorithm, these earbuds ensure crystal-clear conversations even in noisy environments.

Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE)
Experience powerful bass and clear vocals with Sony's DSEE processing and unique 5mm driver, which restores quality to compressed music files.
Touch Controls
The earbuds feature touch sensors for various functions. These can be customized via the Sony | Sound Connect app. Default functions include:
- Single Tap: Play/Pause (Right earbud), Noise Canceling/Ambient Sound toggle (Left earbud).
- Double Tap: Next Song (Right earbud).
- Triple Tap: Previous Song (Right earbud).
- Long Press: Launch Voice Assist function (Right earbud), Quick Attention (Left earbud).
- Repeat Tap: Raise Volume (Right earbud), Lower Volume (Left earbud).
Multipoint Connection
The WF-C710N supports Multipoint Connection, allowing you to pair with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This enables seamless switching between devices, for example, from a laptop to a smartphone for a call.

Water Resistance
With an IPX4 rating, the earbuds are protected against splashes from any angle. This makes them suitable for use during workouts or in light rain. Note: The charging case is not water resistant.

Single Earbud Mode
You can use either the left or right earbud independently. Simply place the unused earbud in the charging case and close the lid. The active earbud will continue to function for calls or audio playback.
Spatial Audio
For compatible devices, the earbuds support Spatial Audio, providing a more immersive audio experience. This feature can typically be enabled in your device's Bluetooth settings.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner, or other chemical cleaners.
- Regularly clean the earbud tips and mesh to prevent wax buildup, which can affect sound quality.
Storage
Always store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and ensure they remain charged.
Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the earbuds and case to extreme temperatures. Charge them regularly, even if not used frequently.
Troubleshooting
No Sound or Intermittent Sound
- Ensure earbuds are charged.
- Check Bluetooth connection on your device. Try re-pairing.
- Move closer to your device to avoid interference.
- Clean earbud mesh if sound is muffled.
Earbuds Not Charging
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and power source.
- Verify the power source is active.
- Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case.
Touch Controls Not Responding
- Ensure your fingers are clean and dry.
- Check the Sony | Sound Connect app to ensure touch functions are enabled and assigned.
- Restart the earbuds by placing them in the case and closing the lid for a few seconds.
