5. Setup and Operation

Follow these steps to set up and operate your Shefmon Pneumatic Shockwave Therapy Machine:

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the machine and a suitable power outlet.
  2. Handle Connection: Securely attach the treatment handle to the designated port on the main unit.
  3. Select Working Head: Choose the appropriate working head (6mm, 15mm, 20mm, or 32mm) for your intended treatment area and screw it onto the treatment handle.
  4. Power On: Turn on the main power switch, usually located at the back of the unit. The HD touch screen will illuminate.
  5. Adjust Settings: On the touch screen, you can select from built-in prescriptions for specific body parts (e.g., Neck, Shoulders, Elbows, Hips, Legs, Ankles, Back, Knees, Feet, Wrists) or customize settings. Adjust the 'Number of Impacts', 'Impact Strength (Bar)', and 'Impact Frequency (Hz)' according to your needs and comfort level.
  6. Apply Gel: Apply a small amount of conductive gel to the skin area where the treatment will be applied. This ensures optimal contact and energy transfer.
  7. Begin Treatment: Press the 'Ready' button on the screen, then place the working head firmly against the skin over the applied gel. Activate the treatment by pressing the trigger on the handle. Move the handle slowly and steadily over the treatment area.
  8. Monitor Progress: The screen will display the remaining impacts and current settings. Adjust as necessary during the session.
  9. End Treatment: Once the desired number of impacts is reached or the session is complete, release the trigger and press 'Return' on the screen. Power off the machine.
