- Place Heat Shields: Position the porcelain enameled steel heat shields directly above the burner tubes. Ensure they are seated correctly on their supports. These shields protect the burners and help distribute heat evenly.

- Replace Cooking Grates: Once all replacement parts are securely in place, reinstall your cooking grates.
