Setup
Unboxing and Initial Charge
Upon receiving your QOLNBY Solar Pool Lights, it is recommended to fully charge them before first use. The lights can be charged via solar power or USB.
- Solar Charging: Place the solar panel in direct sunlight for 7-10 hours.
- USB Charging: Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to the light. The light will blink red during charging and turn steady red when fully charged. USB charging typically takes 3-4 hours.

Installation
The QOLNBY Solar Pool Lights offer versatile installation methods to suit various pool types.
- Magnetic Mount: Each light has a super magnet inside. Simply place the light on a ferrous metal surface for immediate use.
- Adhesive Glue: For smooth or textured surfaces, use the upgraded underwater safe glue provided. The glue forms a strong bond and can be scraped off with tools if removal is needed.
- Framed Pools: Secure the solar panels with the reusable ties provided. The light unit hangs into the water.
Important: Before using the remote control, ensure you press the switch on the pool light to activate it.

Operating Instructions
Remote Control Functions
The RF remote control allows for comprehensive management of your pool lights. Ensure the light is activated by pressing its physical switch before using the remote.
- Power On/Off: Use the ON/OFF buttons.
- Color Selection: Choose from 16 static color modes.
- Dynamic Modes: Select from 6 dynamic lighting effects: FLASH 1/2, FADE 1/2, SMOOTH 1/2.
- Brightness Adjustment: Adjust between 5 brightness levels.
- Timer Function: Set the lights to turn off automatically after 2 hours or 4 hours. The remote has a memory function for the last setting.
Auto Light Sensor Function
To activate or deactivate the auto-sensing function:
- Activate: Short press the “Set” button on the remote control. The pool light will blink “red” 3 times to confirm activation. In this mode, the light will turn off when charging in sunlight during the daytime and automatically light up at night.
- Deactivate: Short press the “Set” button again. The pool light will blink “green” 3 times to confirm deactivation.
- Turn off all auto-sensing: Long press the “Set” button to turn off the auto-sensing function for all connected pool lights.
Note: If any button on the remote (except SET button) flashes “red” three times, it indicates the auto-sensing state, which is an energy-saving mode.
