Operating Instructions
1. Selecting Operating Mode
The wrench offers multiple operating modes:
- Peak Mode: In this mode, you can set a target torque value. The wrench will alert you via vibration, buzzer, and LED light when the target torque is reached. This mode is suitable for applications requiring a specific, maximum torque to be applied.
- Real-time Mode (Track Mode): This mode displays real-time torque values as force is applied. It is useful for continuous monitoring of torque during tightening.
- Preset Mode: This mode allows for setting and recalling specific torque presets for repetitive tasks.
Use the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through the available operating modes.

2. Setting Target Torque (Peak Mode)
- Ensure the wrench is in Peak Mode.
- Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrow buttons to adjust the target torque value.
- Confirm the setting by pressing the 'P/C' button or waiting for the display to automatically set.
3. Applying Torque
- Attach the appropriate socket or bit to the 3/8 inch drive.
- Place the socket onto the fastener.
- Apply steady, increasing force to the wrench handle. Observe the digital display for real-time torque readings.
- In Peak Mode, stop applying force when the wrench alerts you (vibration, buzzer, LED) that the target torque has been reached.
- The wrench features a dual-direction ratchet head, allowing for both clockwise and counterclockwise operations. Adjust the ratchet direction lever as needed.
4. Data Storage
The wrench has a data storage capacity of 999 readings. Consult the full product manual or manufacturer's website for detailed instructions on how to access and manage stored data.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the wrench clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the display or finish. Ensure no liquids enter the electronic components.
2. Storage
Store the torque wrench in its protective case (if provided) in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if the wrench will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
3. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace the batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings and continuous operation. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
4. Calibration
Digital torque wrenches require periodic calibration to maintain accuracy. The frequency of calibration depends on usage and environmental conditions. It is recommended to have the wrench calibrated by a qualified service center annually or after significant impact or heavy use. Refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for specific calibration recommendations.
Troubleshooting
- Display Not Working:
- Check battery installation and ensure correct polarity.
- Replace batteries with fresh ones.
- Ensure the power button is pressed firmly. - Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the correct unit of measurement is selected.
- Verify that the wrench is properly calibrated. If not, consider professional calibration.
- Avoid applying sudden jerks; apply force smoothly and steadily.
- Ensure the fastener is clean and free of debris. - No Buzzer/LED Alert in Peak Mode:
- Check if the wrench is correctly set to Peak Mode.
- Ensure the target torque value is set appropriately and not exceeded too quickly.
- Check battery level. - Wrench Not Turning:
- Ensure the ratchet direction lever is engaged correctly for the desired direction (clockwise or counterclockwise).
- Check for any obstructions in the ratchet mechanism.
If problems persist after attempting these troubleshooting steps, contact customer support or a qualified service technician.
