4. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly:

  • Two (2) Solid Wood Bed Rails
  • Hardware Pack (screws, bolts, and potentially alternate hooks)

5. Setup and Installation

  1. Prepare the Crib: Carefully disassemble your convertible crib. Remove the side panels, leaving only the headboard and footboard.
  2. Attach Bed Rails to Headboard: Position one bed rail perpendicular to the headboard. Align the pre-drilled holes on the bed rail with the attachment points on the headboard. Secure using the provided hardware. Ensure a snug fit.
  3. Check Hook Compatibility: Test the pre-packaged hooks in the headboard slots. If they do not fit securely, use the alternate hooks provided in the kit. Replace the pre-packaged hooks with the new ones if necessary, securing them with an Allen key.
  4. Attach Bed Rails to Footboard: Once the bed rails are securely attached to the headboard, connect the other end of the bed rails to the footboard using the same method.
  5. Install Slats (Optional but Recommended): The kit includes four wooden slats. Space these evenly across the bed frame and secure them to the bed rails with the provided screws. For enhanced mattress support and to keep the bed low, additional slats are available for purchase. A box spring or additional slats are required to support the mattress.
  6. Place Mattress: Once the frame is assembled and slats are in place, position your full-size mattress on the bed frame.
