2. Setup Guide
2.1. Package Contents
Before you begin, ensure all components are present:
- Handset
- Base Unit
- AC Adapter for Base Unit
- Telephone Line Cord
- Rechargeable Battery (for handset)
2.2. Initial Setup
- Connect the Base Unit:
- Connect the AC adapter to the base unit and plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect the telephone line cord to the base unit and then to your telephone wall jack.
- Install Handset Battery:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Dial the number and press the TALK button.
- To Receive a Call: Press the TALK button when the phone rings.
- To End a Call: Press the OFF button or place the handset back on the base unit.
3.2. Call Block Feature
The Incoming Call Barring feature allows you to block unwanted calls from specific numbers. Numbers on your call block list will be blocked, meaning the unit will not ring and will disconnect the call if they call you. This feature requires a subscription to Caller ID service from your telephone provider.
