1. Product Overview

The Generic 4' LED Linear Vapor Tight Light (Model LVT4-50PCS) is a versatile and durable lighting fixture designed for demanding environments. 4. Setup and Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply is disconnected at the circuit breaker.

4.1. Mounting the Fixture

The LVT4-50PCS fixture is designed for surface mounting. Use the included surface mount installation accessories.

  1. Mark the desired mounting locations on the ceiling or wall. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the fixture.
  2. Secure the mounting brackets to the surface using appropriate fasteners (included).
  3. Attach the fixture to the secured mounting brackets. Ensure the fixture is firmly seated and locked into place.

4.2. Electrical Connections

Ensure power is OFF before making any electrical connections.

  1. Open the fixture by releasing the stainless steel latching clips.
  2. Route the electrical wiring through the NPT threaded hubs.
  3. Connect the supply wires to the fixture wires according to local electrical codes:
    • Black wire to Line (L)
    • White wire to Neutral (N)
    • Green/Yellow wire to Ground (G)
  4. Ensure all connections are secure using appropriate wire connectors.
  5. Close the fixture, ensuring the latching clips are securely fastened to maintain the IP66 rating.

4.3. Power and CCT Selection

The fixture allows for selection of wattage and color temperature (CCT) at the time of installation. These switches are located inside the fixture.

  1. Before connecting power, open the fixture by releasing the latching clips.
  2. Locate the wattage selector switch. Choose between 30W, 40W, or 50W.
  3. Locate the CCT selector switch. Choose between 3500K (Warm White), 4000K (Cool White), or 5000K (Daylight).
  4. Once selections are made, close the fixture securely.

Note: These settings should be made prior to applying power to the fixture. Changing settings while power is applied may cause damage or unexpected behavior.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the fixture is properly installed and the desired wattage and CCT settings have been selected, restore power at the circuit breaker. The light will illuminate according to the chosen settings.

  • Dimmable Functionality: This fixture is dimmable. Connect to a compatible 0-10V dimmer switch for adjustable light output. Consult a qualified electrician for dimmer installation.
  • Continuous Operation: The fixture is designed for continuous operation in its specified environment.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your LED fixture.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Clean the exterior of the fixture and lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or lens.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage, loose connections, or wear. Ensure all latching clips are secure.
  • LEDs: The LEDs are integrated and not user-serviceable. Do not attempt to replace individual LEDs.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Fixture does not illuminate. No power supply; loose wiring; incorrect CCT/wattage selection; faulty fixture. Check circuit breaker and wall switch. Verify all electrical connections are secure. Ensure CCT/wattage switches are set correctly. If problem persists, contact a qualified electrician or support.
Light flickers or dims unexpectedly. Incompatible dimmer; loose wiring; unstable power supply. Ensure dimmer is 0-10V compatible. Check all wiring connections. Consult an electrician to check power supply stability.
Water or moisture inside fixture. Improperly sealed housing; damaged lens/gasket. Immediately disconnect power. Inspect latching clips for secure closure. Check lens and gaskets for damage. If damaged, replace the fixture.
