Setup
1. SIM Card Insertion
The BLU Bold K5 is a GSM unlocked device, compatible with carriers like T-Mobile and Metro PCS. A SIM card is not included and must be obtained from your service provider. To insert your SIM card:
- Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device.
- Insert the provided SIM key into the small hole on the SIM tray to eject it.
- Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card (if applicable) into the tray, ensuring proper orientation.
- Carefully reinsert the tray into the device.
Note: This device is not compatible with AT&T/Cricket new activations or CDMA networks like Verizon. Please consult your service provider for network compatibility.
2. Powering On
Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device until the BLU logo appears on the screen.
3. Initial Configuration
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account sign-in. You can choose to set up offline if preferred, but connecting to Wi-Fi is recommended for updates and data restoration.
