4. Setup and Installation
This pendant light is a hardwired fixture and requires connection to your home's electrical system. Professional installation is recommended if you are unsure about the process.
Installation Steps:
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture's location and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Prepare Mounting: Remove the existing fixture (if any) and its mounting bracket. Attach the new mounting bracket (provided) to the junction box in the ceiling using the screws.
- Wire Connections: Carefully connect the electrical wires. Connect the fixture's live (black) wire to the house's live (black) wire, the fixture's neutral (white) wire to the house's neutral (white) wire, and the fixture's ground (green or bare copper) wire to the house's ground wire. Secure connections with wire nuts.
- Mount Fixture: Carefully push the wired connections into the junction box. Align the canopy of the pendant light with the mounting bracket and secure it with the provided screws.
- Install Bulb: Screw an E27 base bulb (not included) into the lamp holder. Do not overtighten.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions
