4. Installation Guide
Warning: Ensure the main power supply is switched off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Mark the drilling points on the ceiling for the mounting bracket. Ensure the location can support the weight of the lamp.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Drill holes and insert appropriate wall plugs. Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling using the provided screws.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the household electrical wires to the terminal block inside the lamp's ceiling canopy. Ensure correct polarity: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth (⚡). Refer to the diagram below.
- Secure the Canopy: Carefully lift the lamp fixture and attach the ceiling canopy to the mounting bracket, securing it with the provided screws.
- Adjust Height: Adjust the suspension cables to achieve the desired hanging height (40-150 cm). Ensure the lamp is level.
- Install Bulbs: Carefully insert 7 G9 LED bulbs (max 8W each) into their respective sockets.
- Attach Glass Spheres: Carefully screw or clip the opal glass spheres onto the lamp fixture, ensuring they are secure.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.
5. Operating Instructions
After successful installation, the lamp is ready for use.
- Switching On/Off: Operate the lamp using your standard wall switch.
- Dimming Function: If you have installed dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, you can adjust the light intensity using the dimmer switch. Ensure the dimmer switch is suitable for LED loads.
- Bulb Replacement: To replace a bulb, first disconnect power at the circuit breaker. Allow bulbs to cool completely. Gently unscrew the glass sphere, then carefully pull out the old G9 bulb. Insert a new G9 LED bulb (max 8W) and reattach the glass sphere. Restore power.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lamp.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the metal frame and glass spheres. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check all connections and mounting points for tightness. If any damage is observed, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
