Setup and Assembly

The vidaXL 4-in-1 Brush Cutter requires assembly before first use. Follow these steps carefully.

1. Fuel Mixing

This machine uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture. Mix unleaded gasoline with 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 25:1 (25 parts gasoline to 1 part oil). Use a clean, approved fuel container for mixing. Shake the mixture thoroughly before pouring it into the fuel tank.

2. Attaching the Shaft and Handle

  1. Connect the engine unit to the main shaft. Ensure the quick-connect mechanism is securely fastened.
  2. Attach the handle assembly to the shaft at a comfortable operating position. Tighten all bolts firmly.
  3. Secure the shoulder strap to the designated points on the shaft.

3. Attaching Work Heads

Operating Instructions

Starting the Engine

  1. Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct 25:1 fuel mixture.
  2. Place the machine on a flat, stable surface.
  3. Set the choke lever to the "START" or "CLOSED" position.
  4. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
  5. Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and steadily until the engine starts. Do not pull the cord to its full extension.
  6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" or "OPEN" position.
  7. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.

Using the Attachments

Stopping the Engine

Release the throttle and press the engine stop switch to turn off the machine.
