4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Ensure the tool is turned off and the paddle switch is not engaged.
2. Align the 20V Lithium-Ion battery pack with the battery port at the base of the tool handle.
3. Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place. Do not force the battery.
4. To remove the battery, press the battery release latches (if present) and slide the battery pack out.

4.2 Socket Attachment

1. Select the appropriate 3/8 in. drive impact-rated socket for your application.
2. Push the socket firmly onto the 3/8 in. anvil at the right-angle head. The friction ring will hold the socket in place.
3. Ensure the socket is fully seated and secure before operation.
