Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your portable air conditioner:

  1. Positioning the Unit: Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface near a window and a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure there is at least 20 inches of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  2. Connecting the Exhaust Hose:
    • Connect the hose connector to one end of the exhaust hose.
    • Connect the window kit adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
  3. Installing the Window Kit:
    • Open the window and extend the adjustable window kit to fit the window opening. Secure it in place.
    • Insert the window kit adapter (with the exhaust hose attached) into the opening of the window kit.
  4. Attaching Hose to AC Unit: Attach the hose connector end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the air conditioner. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent air leakage.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel and Remote Control

The unit can be controlled via the LED touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. The remote control has a range of over 50 meters (160+ ft).

Operating Modes

Press the "Mode" button to cycle through the available modes:

  • Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling. Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to set the desired temperature (typically 61°F-90°F / 16°C-32°C).
  • Dehumidifier Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air. The unit will operate as a dehumidifier without significant cooling.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. You can adjust the fan speed (Low/High) using the "Speed" button.
  • Sleep Mode: Designed for quiet operation during sleep. The fan speed will be set to low, and the display lights may dim. The unit operates at a low noise level of ≤52 dB.

Timer Function

The 24-hour timer allows you to set the unit to automatically turn on or off after a specified period. Press the "Timer" button and use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to set the desired hours.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
  2. Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
  3. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm water and mild detergent.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.
  5. Reinstall the filter and reconnect power.

Draining Water

During dehumidification or prolonged cooling, water will accumulate inside the unit. The unit has a self-evaporation system, but in high humidity conditions, manual draining may be necessary. Connect the drain pipe to the drain outlet and place the other end into a suitable container or floor drain.

Storage

Before storing the unit for an extended period:

  • Drain all accumulated water from the unit.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Run the unit in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the interior.
  • Disconnect the power cord and wrap it neatly.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably covered with the provided dust bag or a similar protective cover.
