Operating Instructions
To use your TREBLEET SSD enclosure:
- Connect one end of the provided 80Gbps USB-C cable to the TB5 Data Transmission Interface (80Gbps) on the enclosure.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible port on your computer (Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB4).
- For high-capacity NVMe drives (8TB or larger) or when experiencing insufficient power issues, connect a power adapter (not included) to the Auxiliary Power Supply Interface (PD Power Port) on the enclosure. This ensures stable data transmission.
- For Windows operating systems, ensure "Disk Write Caching" is enabled to achieve maximum write performance. This setting can typically be found in Device Manager under the disk drive properties.

System Requirements

Figure 3: System compatibility details for Mac and PC operating systems, including required Thunderbolt/USB4 versions and macOS/Windows versions.
Note: PC, Chromebook, and Surface devices require a Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 5, or USB4 interface for proper operation. Actual read and write speeds may vary based on SSD capacity, operating system, host device, and other environmental factors.
Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your enclosure:
- Keep the enclosure clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Ensure the cooling fan vents are not obstructed to allow for proper heat dissipation. The built-in silent turbo cooling fan is designed to maintain optimal operating temperatures and prevent thermal throttling.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or humidity.
