1. Introduction and Overview

The HRD-757 Multiband Radio is a versatile portable device designed for comprehensive radio reception and multimedia playback. It supports a wide range of frequencies including FM, AM, MW, SW, V.UHF, AIR, and WB bands. Beyond traditional radio functions, it integrates Bluetooth connectivity, TF card music playback, and can be conveniently controlled via a mobile application. Additional features include an SOS alarm, flashlight, and alarm clock functionality, making it a robust and user-friendly communication and entertainment tool.

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that the following items are included:

2.2 Battery Installation and Charging

The HRD-757 radio is powered by a 3.7V 2500mAh lithium battery. If the battery is not pre-installed, open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit and insert the battery, ensuring correct polarity. Connect the provided USB-C power cord to the radio's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The display will indicate charging status. Fully charge the battery before first use.

2.3 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) to turn the radio on or off. The backlit display will illuminate upon power-on.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Radio Operation (FM, AM, SW, V.UHF, AIR, WB)

The HRD-757 supports a wide range of frequency bands. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception, especially for FM, SW, V.UHF, AIR, and WB bands. For AM/MW, the internal ferrite bar antenna is used.

• Band Selection: Press the BAND button to cycle through available frequency bands (FM, AM, SW, V.UHF, AIR, WB).
• Tuning: Use the tuning knob or the number keypad to directly input frequencies. The SCAN button can be used for automatic station scanning.
• Channel Storage: The radio can store up to 1000 channels (200 for each band). Refer to the detailed manual for specific instructions on saving and recalling presets.

3.2 Bluetooth (BT) Playback

The radio supports Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless audio streaming from compatible devices within a 20-meter range.

1. Turn on the radio and switch to Bluetooth mode (usually indicated by a BT icon on the display).
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other audio device.
3. Search for "HRD-757" or a similar device name in your device's Bluetooth settings and pair.
4. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the radio's speaker.

3.3 TF Card Playback

Insert a TF (microSD) card (up to 256GB) into the designated slot. The radio supports MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, and FLAC audio formats. The radio will automatically switch to TF card playback mode or you can select it manually. Use the navigation buttons to browse and play tracks.

3.4 App Control

The HRD-757 can be controlled remotely via a dedicated mobile application (compatible with Android and Harmony OS) within 20 meters. This allows for convenient band and mode switching.

1. Scan the QR code on the radio or in the manual to download the official app.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your phone and the radio.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the HRD-757.

3.5 Alarm Clock Function

The radio features two modes for scheduled power-on and scheduled alarm clock. You can choose from two ringtones ("n1" and "n2").

1. Press the ALARM button to enter alarm setting mode.
2. Use the navigation buttons or shuttle knob to set the desired alarm time.
3. Press SQ.ST to confirm the time.
4. To choose an alarm ringtone, press SQ.ST again. "n1" and "n2" will appear on the LCD. Use buttons or the knob to select, then press SQ.ST to confirm.

3.6 SOS Alarm and Flashlight

The radio includes an SOS alarm for emergencies and a built-in flashlight.

• SOS Alarm: Press the SOS button to activate a loud emergency alarm. Press again to deactivate.
• Flashlight: Locate the flashlight button (often marked with a lightbulb icon) and press it to turn the flashlight on or off.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your HRD-757 radio.
