5. Setup Guide

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 6.5 hours of playback.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the speaker by pressing and holding the power button.
  2. The speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically, indicated by a flashing LED.
  3. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "Aiwa AWS40BT" in the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Select the speaker to pair. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the LED will stop flashing.

5.3 Connecting the Wireless Microphone

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on.
  2. Power on the wireless microphone. It should automatically connect to the speaker.
  3. Test the microphone by speaking into it to ensure sound is output through the speaker.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Controls

  • Power Button (O): Press and hold to turn the speaker ON/OFF.
  • Play/Pause (►): Press to play or pause music.
  • Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume.
  • Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume.
  • Mode Button (M): Press to switch between Bluetooth, USB, and Auxiliary input modes.
  • Light Button (✰): Press to cycle through different RGB lighting modes or turn them off.

6.2 Music Playback

  • Bluetooth Mode: After successful pairing, play music from your connected device.
  • USB Mode: Insert a USB memory stick (up to 64 GB) into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback.
  • Auxiliary Input: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) to the AUX port. Press the Mode button to select AUX input.

6.3 Karaoke Function

With the wireless microphone connected, you can use the speaker for karaoke. Adjust microphone volume using the controls on the microphone itself.

6.4 RGB Lighting

Press the Light button (✰) on the speaker's control panel to change the RGB lighting effects. Multiple dynamic modes are available to enhance your listening experience.
