The FiiO K17 features a discrete amplifier circuit utilizing an OP + transistor current-driving headphone amplifier design. It is equipped with On Semiconductor MJE243G/253G complementary pairs, enabling high-current, low-impedance output. Multiple Input Options and Decoding Capabilities
The FiiO K17 supports a wide array of input options, including single-ended line input, balanced line input, USB decoding, Bluetooth decoding, optical decoding, and coaxial decoding. The USB decoding utilizes the XMOS 16-core chip XU316, supporting up to 768kHz/32bit, DSD512, and full MQA decoding. Intuitive Control and Display

Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your FiiO K17 for optimal performance:
- Placement: Place the K17 on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the AC input on the rear panel of the K17 and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
- Input Connection:
- USB Input: Connect your computer or other USB audio source to the USB-B input port on the rear panel using the supplied USB cable.
- Optical/Coaxial Input: Connect your digital audio source (e.g., TV, CD player) to the OPTICAL IN or COAXIAL IN port.
- Line Input (RCA/4.4mm): For analog sources, connect to the LINE IN RCA ports or the 4.4mm balanced input.
- Network Connection (LAN): For streaming features like Roon Ready, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port.
- Output Connection:
- Headphones: Connect your headphones to the appropriate headphone output jacks on the front panel (6.35mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, or XLR 4-pin balanced).
- Line Output (RCA/XLR): For connecting to external power amplifiers or active speakers, use the LINE OUT RCA ports or the BALANCED OUTPUT XLR ports on the rear.
- Power On: Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the ON position. The LCD screen on the front will illuminate.
- Remote Control Setup: Insert batteries into the remote control. The remote can be used to control various functions from a distance.

The FiiO K17 offers a range of controls and modes for a customized audio experience.
Front Panel Controls
- LCD Screen: Displays current input, sample rate, volume, EQ settings, and other operational information. Supports touch control for quick navigation.

Volume Adjustment
Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease. Press the knob to quickly mute or unmute the audio output.
Gain Settings

PEQ (Parametric Equalizer) Adjustment
Access the PEQ settings via the LCD screen menu. The 31-band PEQ allows for precise frequency response adjustments. You can select from preset EQ curves or create custom ones to fine-tune the sound to your preference or to compensate for headphone characteristics.
Bluetooth Operation
Switch the input to Bluetooth mode. The K17 will enter pairing mode. On your device (smartphone, tablet), search for "FiiO K17" in the Bluetooth settings and connect. The K17 supports high-resolution Bluetooth codecs like aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC.
Streaming and Local Playback
When connected to a network via LAN, the K17 supports Roon Ready and AirPlay for seamless streaming from compatible devices and servers. For local playback, connect a USB flash drive or portable hard drive to the USB Host port on the rear panel to access your stored audio files.
