2. Setup and Installation

1. Mounting the Mixer:
   • Attach the MM02 mixer to your DSLR camera or camcorder's hot shoe using the integrated cold shoe adapter at the bottom. Secure it by tightening the thumb wheel.
   • The mixer also features three additional cold shoe brackets (one on top, one on each side) and 1/4" threads for mounting additional accessories like wireless receivers, LED lights, or magic arms.

2. Connecting to Camera/Smartphone:
   • Use the included 3.5mm TRS cable. Connect one end to the mixer's OUT jack.
   • Connect the other end of the 3.5mm TRS cable to the MIC input jack of your camera or camcorder. For smartphones, a TRRS adapter (not included) may be required.
3. Connecting Microphones:
   • Connect your microphones to the LEFT, RIGHT, or STEREO input jacks on the mixer.

3. Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Gain Controls:
   • Use the two dials on the front of the mixer to control the gain (volume) for the left and right channels independently. Adjust these to achieve optimal audio levels and prevent clipping.
2. Mono/Stereo Mode Selection:
   • The M/S button (Mono/Stereo switch) allows you to select the desired output mode:
     • Set to M (Mono) when using a single microphone or when you want both microphone inputs to be mixed into a single mono track.
     • Set to S (Stereo) when using two microphones and you wish to record them as separate left and right stereo channels.

3. Bias Voltage Switch:
   • The Bias switch (located on the back) provides power to unpowered microphones. Ensure it is set to ON if you are using a microphone that requires bias voltage and is connected to the left input. Set to OFF for self-powered microphones.

• Keep the mixer clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.

• No Audio Output:
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected to the correct input/output jacks.

  • Confirm your camera's audio input settings are configured correctly.
• Distorted Audio:
