3. Setup and Assembly
The weed wacker requires some assembly before first use. Follow these steps carefully.
3.1 Charging the Batteries:
- Insert the 24V 4.0Ah battery into the charger.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger indicator light will change when charging is complete (refer to charger manual for specific light indications). Charging time is approximately 2.2 hours per battery.
- Always charge batteries in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.
3.2 Assembling the Weed Wacker:
- Attach the Guard: Secure the anti-collision ring/guard to the trimmer head using the provided screws and screwdriver. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent debris from striking the user.
- Install the Blade:
- For grass trimming: Attach the 9" stainless steel blade to the trimmer head. Use the wrench to tighten the retaining nut securely.
- For brush cutting: Attach the 8" circular saw blade to the trimmer head. Ensure it is properly aligned and secured with the retaining nut.
Note: Always ensure the blade is correctly installed and tightened before operation. Refer to the blade installation diagram in the quick start guide for visual instructions.
- Adjust the Telescopic Shaft: Loosen the locking collar on the shaft, extend or retract the shaft to your desired length (between 42-55 inches), and then firmly tighten the locking collar.
- Attach the Auxiliary Handle: Position the auxiliary handle for comfortable grip and secure it. This handle can be rotated 180 degrees for optimal ergonomics.
- Attach the Shoulder Strap: Connect the shoulder strap to the designated attachment points on the weed wacker. Adjust the strap length for balanced weight distribution and comfort during use.
4. Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure you have read and understood all safety information and the unit is properly assembled.
4.1 Starting the Weed Wacker:
- Ensure a fully charged battery is inserted into the battery compartment until it clicks into place.
- Hold the main handle firmly with one hand and the auxiliary handle with the other.
- Press the safety lock button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch to start the motor. Release the safety lock button once the motor starts.
4.2 Operating Techniques:
- Grass Trimming:
Use the 9" stainless steel blade. Hold the trimmer at a slight angle to the ground and swing it in a sweeping motion, cutting small amounts of grass at a time. Avoid hitting hard objects like rocks or fences.

- Brush Cutting:
Switch to the 8" circular saw blade for thicker vegetation, small branches, or dense bushes. Approach the material slowly and allow the blade to reach full speed before making contact. Use a controlled, steady motion.
- Edging:
The trimmer head can be rotated for edging along sidewalks or driveways. Adjust the head angle as needed for precise cuts.
4.3 Stopping the Weed Wacker:
Release the trigger switch to stop the motor. The blade will stop spinning within a few seconds. Always remove the battery when not in use or before performing any adjustments or maintenance.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your weed wacker. Always remove the battery before any maintenance procedures.
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the trimmer head, guard, and shaft with a damp cloth. Remove any grass, dirt, or debris that may have accumulated. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Blade Inspection: Regularly inspect the blades for sharpness, damage, or cracks. Replace dull or damaged blades immediately. A dull blade can reduce efficiency and put strain on the motor.
- Battery Care:
