Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one (1) AA/LR6 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Time Synchronization
After inserting the battery, the clock hands will automatically move to the 12:00 position. The clock will then attempt to receive the DCF radio signal. This process can take several minutes, or up to an hour, depending on your location and environmental conditions. Once the signal is successfully received, the clock will automatically set itself to the correct local time.
- For best reception, place the clock near a window and away from electronic devices that might cause interference.
- Avoid placing the clock near large metal objects or concrete walls, which can block the signal.
3. Mounting the Clock
The clock features an integrated hook for easy wall mounting (refer to Figure 2).
- Choose a suitable location on a wall, ensuring it is sturdy enough to hold the clock's weight.
- Install a screw or nail into the wall, leaving a small portion protruding.
- Carefully hang the clock onto the screw/nail using the mounting hook on the back.
