3. Setup and First Use

Follow these steps to prepare your steamer for use.

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Fill Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the main unit. Open the cap and fill with distilled or demineralized water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Close the cap securely and reinsert the tank into the main unit.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Preheat: Press the power button on the steam head. The indicator light will flash, indicating preheating. The steamer heats up in approximately 30 seconds. The light will become solid when ready.

The Sundu steamer offers 6 professional steam modes for various fabric types. Select the appropriate mode using the control panel on the steam head.

  • Silk: For delicate fabrics like silk and satin.

4.2 Vertical Steaming

  1. Hang the garment on a hanger.
  2. Hold the steam head a few inches from the fabric.
  3. Press the steam trigger and move the steam head slowly over the fabric, from top to bottom.
  4. For best results, gently pull the fabric taut with your free hand.

4.3 Flat Ironing

For crisp results and stubborn creases.

  1. Place the garment on a clean, heat-resistant ironing surface.
  2. Select the appropriate steam mode.

  4. Apply gentle pressure as needed.

4.4 Auto Shut-Off Feature

For safety and energy efficiency, the steamer will automatically power off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Self-Cleaning Function

The steamer features a one-click self-cleaning function to prevent scale residue and extend machine life.
