1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the KONLEYA Smart Camera Glasses. These glasses are designed to capture high-definition video and photos, offering a hands-free recording experience for various outdoor activities and daily use. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device.

• Camera Lens: Located on the front right side of the frame, captures video and photos.
• Function Button: Used for powering on/off, starting/stopping recording, and switching modes.
• Indicator Light: Provides visual feedback on device status (e.g., charging, recording, low battery).
• USB Port: For charging the device and connecting to a computer for data transfer.
• Micro-SD Card Slot: Insert a Micro-SD card (not included) for storing recordings.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided USB data cable to the USB port on the glasses.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The indicator light will illuminate during charging. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off (refer to indicator light behavior in section 5.1).

Note: Ensure the device is fully charged before first use for optimal battery performance.

4.2. Inserting a Micro-SD Card

A Micro-SD card (not included) is required to store video and photo files.

1. Locate the Micro-SD card slot on the side of the glasses (refer to Figure 3.3).
2. Gently insert the Micro-SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
3. To remove the card, gently push it in again until it clicks and springs out.

Note: The device supports continuous video recording, automatically saving files every ten minutes to ensure data integrity.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the function button for approximately 2-3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the function button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

5.2. Video Recording

The glasses support continuous video recording for up to 90 minutes on a full charge.

1. Ensure the device is powered on and a Micro-SD card is inserted.
2. Press the function button once to start video recording. The indicator light will typically flash or change color to indicate recording is in progress.
3. To stop recording, press the function button once again. The indicator light will return to its standby state.

5.3. Photo Taking

The glasses can also capture still images.

1. Ensure the device is powered on and a Micro-SD card is inserted.
2. While in standby mode (not recording video), quickly double-press the function button to take a photo. The indicator light may flash briefly to confirm the photo has been taken.

5.4. Connecting to a Computer

Transfer your recorded videos and photos to a computer for viewing and storage.

1. Ensure the glasses are powered off.
2. Connect the glasses to your computer using the provided USB data cable.
3. Your computer should recognize the glasses as a removable storage device (similar to a USB drive).
4. Open the device folder to access your video and photo files. You can then copy them to your computer.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses and frame. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the glasses in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
• Water Resistance: These glasses are not waterproof. Avoid exposure to rain, splashes, or submersion in water.

7. Troubleshooting

• Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is fully charged. If the issue persists, try resetting the device using a small pin in the reset pinhole.
• Cannot record video/take photos: Verify that a Micro-SD card is properly inserted and has sufficient free space. Check if the battery is charged.
• Computer not recognizing the device: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the glasses and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable. Ensure the glasses are powered off before connecting to the computer.
• Poor video/photo quality: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from smudges. Record in well-lit environments for best results.
• Short battery life: Ensure the device is fully charged. Battery performance can degrade over time with extensive use.
