1. Safety Information

• Weather Conditions: While designed for all-season use, extreme weather conditions such as heavy snow, strong winds, or severe thunderstorms can compromise the carport's stability. Clear snow accumulation promptly from the roof. Consider disassembling the carport during severe weather warnings.
• Clearance: Ensure adequate clearance around the carport for safe entry and exit of vehicles and to prevent contact with sharp objects or power lines.
• Fire Hazard: Keep all heat sources, open flames, and flammable materials away from the carport fabric.
• Structural Integrity: Do not hang heavy objects from the frame. Regularly inspect the frame and cover for damage or wear.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires at least two people. Follow these steps carefully for proper installation.

3.1 Site Preparation

• Choose a level area free from obstructions, overhead power lines, and sharp objects.
• Ensure the ground is suitable for anchoring.
• Clear any debris or vegetation from the chosen site.

3.2 Frame Assembly

1. Unpack all frame components and lay them out according to their labels or shapes.
2. Begin by assembling the roof trusses. Connect the curved and straight pipes using the appropriate connectors.
3. Attach the vertical support legs to the assembled roof trusses. Ensure all connections are stable and secure.
4. Connect the assembled sections using the horizontal roof and side pipes to form the complete frame structure.
5. Install the 10 reinforced ground bars along the base of the frame. These bars significantly improve the carport's stability.

3.3 Cover Installation

1. Carefully drape the main PE fabric cover over the assembled frame, ensuring it is centered and aligned.
2. Attach the front and rear door panels to the respective ends of the frame.
3. Secure the cover to the frame using the provided bungee balls/cords, ensuring a snug fit.
4. Use the ratchets to tighten the cover, pulling it taut to prevent water pooling and wind flapping.

3.4 Anchoring

1. Drive the extended spiral ground pegs into the ground at each support leg and along the ground bars.
2. Ensure all anchoring points are firm and secure.

4. Operating Instructions

This carport is designed for easy access and ventilation.

4.1 Double-Zipper Doors

• The carport features double-zipper doors at both the front and rear for convenient entry and exit.
• To open, unzip both zippers completely.
• The door panel can be rolled up and secured using the provided curtain fasten buckles and bungee balls to keep it open.
• To close, unroll the door panel and zip both zippers securely.

4.2 Vents

• Each side panel is equipped with vents.
• These vents facilitate airflow and help prevent condensation inside the carport, which can occur due to temperature differences or humidity.
• Ensure vents are clear of obstructions for optimal performance.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life and performance of your carport.

5.1 Fabric Cover Care

• The 220G PE fabric is UV-resistant, water-resistant, and dustproof.
• Clean the fabric cover periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

• Promptly remove any snow accumulation from the roof to prevent structural stress.
• Inspect the cover for tears or damage. Repair small tears with appropriate fabric repair kits to prevent them from enlarging.

5.2 Frame Inspection

• Regularly check all frame connections, bolts, and screws to ensure they are tight and secure.
• Inspect the galvanized steel frame for any signs of rust or damage. Address any issues promptly to maintain structural integrity.
• Verify that all ground pegs and anchoring points remain firm and secure, especially after strong winds or heavy rain.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter.

• Issue: Water pooling on the roof.
  Solution: Ensure the cover is pulled taut and evenly distributed over the frame. Re-tighten ratchets and bungee cords. Check that the frame is assembled correctly and not sagging.
• Issue: Carport instability in wind.
  Solution: Verify all ground pegs are fully inserted and secure. Check that ground bars are properly installed. Consider adding additional anchoring methods in high-wind areas. Ensure all frame connections are tight.
• Issue: Condensation inside the carport.
  Solution: Ensure the side vents are open and clear of obstructions to allow for proper airflow.
• Issue: Zippers are difficult to operate.
  Solution: Clean any dirt or debris from the zipper teeth. Apply a silicone-based lubricant if necessary. Ensure the fabric is not pulling too tightly on the zipper.
