4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your air shock controller kit. Ensure all components are securely fastened and connections are leak-proof.
4.1 Component Placement
- Compressor Mounting: Install the air compressor on the vehicle's frame rail, under the vehicle, or in another suitable location. Ensure it is at least 6 inches away from heat sources.
- Air Inlet Filter: The inlet filter should be kept away from heat sources and in a dry place. Install it at least 1.4 meters above the ground to avoid water intake. Use an extended hose for higher placement if necessary.
- Control Panel: Mount the control panel assembly within easy reach inside the vehicle, typically in the driver's cabin.

4.2 Air Line Connections
- Prepare Tubing: Cut the PA air tubing clean and square using a razor blade for a precise fit.
- Secure Connections: Push the air tubing fully into the fittings until it locks in place. Ensure a snug fit between all components and the air line, avoiding any kinks or sharp bends that could restrict airflow or cause leaks.
- Single Path System: The system uses a single path to evenly distribute air pressure to both air springs, ensuring stable lifting.

4.3 Electrical Connections
- Connect the compressor to a 12V battery source. Use the provided high-temperature-resistant cables and ensure proper fusing (20A fuse wire included).
- Connect the control panel and remote control relay according to the wiring diagram provided in the full installation guide (not included in this summary).

- Air Filter: Inspect and clean or replace the air inlet filter as needed to ensure clean air intake for the compressor.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air shock controller kit, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor not turning on | No power, blown fuse, loose wiring | Check battery connections, inspect fuse (20A), ensure all wires are securely connected. |
| Air leaks | Loose fittings, damaged air hose, faulty air spring | Check all connections for tightness. Inspect air hoses for cuts or punctures. Apply soapy water to connections to identify leaks. Replace damaged components. |
| Inconsistent pressure | Air leak, faulty pressure sensor/gauge | Check for air leaks. Verify pressure gauge accuracy. Contact support if sensor is suspected faulty. |
| Compressor runs constantly | Significant air leak, pressure switch malfunction | Locate and repair air leaks. If no leaks are found, the pressure switch may need replacement. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact VEVOR customer support.
