Setup

Follow these steps to connect your portable monitor to various devices.

Connectivity Options

The monitor is equipped with one standard HDMI port and two full-function USB-C ports. These ports allow for flexible connections to a wide range of devices.

Connecting to Laptops/PCs (USB-C)

  1. Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports Thunderbolt 3/4/5 or DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output.
  2. Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to a full-function USB-C port on the monitor.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the compatible USB-C port on your laptop.
  4. For power, connect the 30W PD adapter to the other USB-C port on the monitor. Using the original power adapter is recommended to prevent screen flickering.

Connecting to MacBooks (USB-C)

  1. Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to a full-function USB-C port on the monitor.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a Thunderbolt port on your MacBook (Apple M1/M2/M3/M4 Chip or Intel Processor).
  3. For older MacBooks without Thunderbolt/DisplayPort over USB-C, a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter may be required.
  4. Ensure the USB-C port on your device is Thunderbolt 3/4/5 or supports DisplayPort. Front USB-C ports on Mac Mini M4 series do not support signal output.

Connecting to Gaming Consoles (HDMI)

  1. Connect one end of the provided HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the monitor.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output of your gaming console (e.g., PS5, Xbox).
  3. Power the monitor using the 30W PD adapter connected to a USB-C port.
  4. Note: For Nintendo Switch, please use HDMI for connection; USB-C is not compatible.

Operating Instructions

Display Modes

When connected to a computer, the monitor supports various display modes:

  • Extended Mode: Expands your desktop across both screens, providing more workspace.
  • Duplicated Mode (Mirror Mode): Duplicates your primary screen's content onto the portable monitor.
  • Portrait Mode: Allows the monitor to be used vertically for specific tasks. (Note: Portrait mode is not supported when connecting to an iPad or smartphone).

Maintenance

Screen Care

  • "No Signal" on Mac Mini M4 Series: Ensure you connect the monitor to the Thunderbolt port on the Mac Mini. The front two USB-C ports on the Mac Mini M4 series do not support signal output.
  • No Display: Verify all cables are securely connected. Check if your device's USB-C port supports video output (Thunderbolt or DisplayPort Alt Mode). Ensure the monitor is receiving adequate power.
  • No Audio: Check the volume settings on both the monitor (via OSD) and your connected device. Ensure the correct audio output device is selected on your computer.
