3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the keyboard's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status.

3.2 Wireless Connection (2.4GHz)

  1. Locate the USB receiver, typically stored in a compartment on the keyboard.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or compatible device.
  3. Turn on the keyboard using the ON/OFF switch located on the side or back of the keyboard.
  4. The keyboard should automatically connect to your device. If not, ensure the receiver is properly inserted and the keyboard is powered on.

3.3 Wired Connection (Optional)

You can also use the keyboard in wired mode. Simply connect the USB-C charging cable from the keyboard to a USB port on your device. The keyboard will function as a wired keyboard and charge simultaneously.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Backlight Control

The keyboard features multi-color backlighting with adjustable settings:

  • Change Backlight Color: Press Fn + PrtSc to cycle through different backlight colors (red, orange, yellow, green, sky blue, blue, purple, white).
  • Increase Brightness: Press Fn + Page Up.
  • Decrease Brightness: Press Fn + Page Down.
  • Turn On/Off Backlight: Press Fn + Scroll Lock.

4.2 Multimedia Keys

The keyboard includes dedicated multimedia keys for enhanced productivity. These functions are accessed by pressing the Fn key in combination with the corresponding F-key (F1-F12) or dedicated shortcut keys.

  • Fn Lock: Press Fn + Esc to toggle between standard F-key functions and multimedia functions.
  • F1: Mute

  • F5: Play/Pause
  • F6: Next Track
  • F7: Brightness Down
  • F8: Brightness Up

4.3 Typing Experience

The keyboard features low-profile, scissor-switch keys designed for a quiet and comfortable typing experience. The innovative dual spacebar design further minimizes noise disruption.

4.4 Ergonomics

The keyboard is designed with adjustable feet to provide a comfortable typing angle, reducing strain during prolonged use.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, power it off and disconnect it from your device. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture and abrasive cleaners. For cleaning between keys, use compressed air or a small brush.

5.2 Battery Care

The keyboard features a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. To maximize battery life:

  • Charge the keyboard when the low battery indicator flashes.
  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • If storing the keyboard for an extended period, charge it to about 50% before storage.
  • Typical charge time is approximately 3.5 hours. A full charge can last up to 600 hours without backlight or 9 hours with the brightest backlight.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Keyboard Not Responding / Connectivity Issues

  • Check Power: Ensure the keyboard is turned ON using the switch.
  • Re-plug Receiver: Unplug the USB receiver from your device and plug it back into a different USB port.
  • Recharge Battery: If the low battery indicator (LED1) is flashing, the battery may be low. Connect the charging cable to recharge the keyboard.
  • Distance: Ensure the keyboard is within the effective wireless range (up to 10 meters or 33 feet) of the USB receiver.
  • Interference: Move the keyboard away from other wireless devices that might cause interference.
  • Restart Device: Try restarting your computer or device.

6.2 Backlight Not Working

  • Check Backlight Toggle: Press Fn + Scroll Lock to ensure the backlight is not turned off.
  • Adjust Brightness: Use Fn + Page Up to increase brightness, as it might be set to the lowest level.
  • Battery Level: If the battery is very low, the backlight may automatically turn off. Recharge the keyboard.

6.3 Keys Not Registering / Sticky Keys

  • Clean Keys: Dust or debris under the keycaps can affect performance. Refer to the cleaning instructions in Section 5.1.
  • Test on Another Device: If possible, test the keyboard on another computer to determine if the issue is with the keyboard or the original device.
