2. Important Safeguards

4. Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the removable claypot and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main heating unit should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Placement: Place the multi-cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
- Assembly: Insert the clean, dry claypot into the main heating unit. Place the lid on top of the claypot.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a 120-volt AC electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
5. Operating Instructions

General Operation:
- Add ingredients to the removable claypot.
- Place the lid on the claypot.
- Press the MODE button to cycle through the available cooking functions. The selected function will be indicated on the digital display.
- Use the TEMP buttons (< and >) to adjust the cooking temperature if the selected mode allows.
- Use the TIME buttons (< and >) to set the desired cooking duration.
- Press the START/STOP button to begin the cooking process.
- To stop cooking at any time, press the START/STOP button again.
Specific Functions:
- Slow Cook: Ideal for tenderizing meats and simmering stews over extended periods. Adjust time and temperature as per recipe.

6. Care and Maintenance

- Cleaning the Claypot and Lid: The removable stoneware claypot and lid are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. The ceramic nonstick coating makes cleaning effortless.
- Cleaning the Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main heating unit and control panel with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the multi-cooker in a cool, dry place. The claypot and lid can be stored inside the main unit to save space.
