5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the BT18. Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device and a compatible USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

5.2 Installing on Helmet
The BT18 can be installed using either the screw clip or the velcro clip, depending on your helmet type and preference. Choose the appropriate microphone (hard mic for open-face/modular helmets, soft mic for full-face helmets) and attach it to the intercom unit.
- Attach the chosen clip to the side of your helmet.
- Slide the BT18 main unit onto the clip until it clicks into place.
- Route the earphone wires and microphone wire inside the helmet lining.
- Secure the earphones inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided velcro pads.
- Position the microphone close to your mouth for optimal voice pickup.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power/Multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.
6.2 Bluetooth Pairing (with Phone/GPS)
- With the device powered off, press and hold the Power/Multi-function button for about 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for "Redfire BT18".
- Select "Redfire BT18" from the list of available devices to connect. Once connected, the LED will flash blue slowly.
6.3 Intercom Communication
The BT18 supports stable 2-person simultaneous communication up to 1000 meters in open environments. It features automatic reconnection if the connection is temporarily lost within range.

6.5 Phone Calls
- Answer Call: When a call comes in, it will automatically answer after approximately 10 seconds.

- Reject Call: Press and hold the Power/Multi-function button for 2 seconds.

6.6 Music Playback & Sharing
