4. Setup and Wiring

Proper wiring is crucial for the safe and effective operation of the BMS. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram below and follow the instructions carefully.

  1. Prepare Battery Pack: Ensure your battery pack is assembled correctly with the desired number of series cells (10S-17S).
  2. Connect B- Terminal: Connect the main negative terminal of the battery pack (B-) to the B- pad on the BMS.
  3. Connect C- Terminal: Connect the charge/discharge negative terminal (C-) to the C- pad on the BMS.
  4. Connect Balance Wires: Connect the balance wires from your battery pack to the corresponding ports on the BMS. Ensure each cell's positive terminal is connected to the correct balance wire input on the BMS, starting from B1 (positive of the first cell) up to the highest cell number (e.g., B17 for a 17S pack).
  5. Connect NTC Sensors: If using external NTC temperature sensors, connect them to the designated NTC ports on the BMS.
  6. Power On: After all connections are securely made and verified, connect the main positive terminal of the battery pack to the system.
