Setup

Follow these steps for proper hot tub setup:

  1. Site Selection: Choose a flat, stable, and level surface capable of supporting the weight of the filled hot tub and occupants. Ensure adequate drainage and proximity to a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Ground Cloth Placement: Unfold the included floor mat and place it on the chosen site. This protects the hot tub from ground debris and provides insulation.
  3. Hot Tub Inflation: Unfold the hot tub liner onto the floor mat. Connect the inflation hose from the heater pump unit to the hot tub's inflation valve. Turn on the pump's inflation function to inflate the hot tub until it is firm.
  4. Heater Pump Connection: Connect the heater pump unit to the hot tub liner using the provided hoses and connectors. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
  5. Filling with Water: Fill the hot tub with fresh water using a garden hose. Fill to the indicated maximum water level line on the inside of the hot tub.
  6. Filter Cartridge Installation: Install the filter cartridges into their designated housings inside the hot tub.

Operating Instructions

Your Glonerle hot tub features an intuitive control panel for easy operation:

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the unit on or off.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Use the temperature up/down arrows to set your desired water temperature between 68°F (20°C) and 104°F (40°C). The built-in 1350W heater will warm the water.
  • Bubble Jets: Activate the 120 air jets for a soothing massage by pressing the bubble button.
  • Filtration: The filtration system can be activated independently to circulate and clean the water.
  • Child Lock: Engage the child lock feature to prevent unauthorized use of the control panel.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and hygiene of your hot tub:

  • Filter Cartridge Cleaning/Replacement: The strong circulating filtration system keeps water clean. Replace the filter cartridge every 168 hours of operation for optimal performance. Regularly rinse cartridges with water to remove debris.
  • Water Treatment: The integrated hard water treatment system helps maintain water quality, preserves bathing suits, and prevents skin dryness. Regularly test water chemistry and add appropriate chemicals as needed.
  • Liner Cleaning: Periodically clean the interior and exterior of the hot tub liner with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Cover Care: The insulated thermal cover helps retain heat and keeps debris out. Clean the cover regularly and ensure it is securely fastened when the hot tub is not in use.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your hot tub, refer to the following common solutions:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Hot tub not heating Low water level, dirty filter, heater malfunction, ambient temperature too low. Ensure water is above minimum line. Clean or replace filter. Check power supply. Ensure insulated cover is used.
Water is cloudy/dirty Dirty filter, improper water chemistry, heavy usage. Clean or replace filter. Test and adjust water chemicals (pH, chlorine/bromine). Shock the water if necessary.
No bubbles from jets Air pump malfunction, clogged air jets. Check air pump connection and power. Clean air jets.
Water leaking Loose connections, puncture in liner. Tighten all hose connections. Use provided repair kit for small punctures.
