6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Initial Startup
After installation, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Plug the unit into a grounded 110V outlet.
6.2 Ice Making Process
The VEVOR Ice Maker is designed for easy operation with a one-touch control. Once powered on and connected to water, the unit will automatically begin the ice-making cycle. It can produce crescent-shaped ice cubes in as fast as 20 minutes, with a daily production capacity of up to 15 lbs and an ice storage capacity of 11 lbs.

7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.
7.1 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent and water. Dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
7.2 Cleaning the Interior and Ice Bin
Periodically clean the ice storage bin and interior surfaces with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely before resuming operation. For sanitation, a diluted bleach solution (1 tablespoon bleach per gallon of water) can be used, followed by thorough rinsing.
7.3 Descaling
Depending on water hardness, mineral deposits may accumulate. Descale the unit periodically using a commercial ice maker descaler or a solution of citric acid. Follow the descaler product instructions carefully.
8. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, review the following common issues and solutions:

|---|---|---|
| Ice maker not producing ice | No water supply; power issue; ambient temperature too high. | Check water connection and supply valve; ensure unit is plugged in; operate in a cooler environment. |
| Ice production is slow | High ambient temperature; poor ventilation; dirty condenser. | Ensure adequate clearance for ventilation; clean condenser coils. |
| Ice cubes are small or soft | Water temperature too high; low water pressure. | Ensure cold water supply; check water pressure. |
| Unit is noisy | Normal operation sounds; unit not level. | Some operational noise is normal. Ensure the unit is on a level surface. |
| Water leakage | Loose water connections; clogged drain (if applicable, though this model is no-drain). | Check and tighten all water connections. |
