- Ladder Use: Always use the ladder to access and exit the upper bunk. Ensure hands and feet are dry to prevent slipping.
- Slide Use: The slide is for single-person use at a time. Ensure the landing area is clear. Supervise children during slide use.
- Position Exchange: The ladder and slide positions can be interchanged to suit room layout. Refer to assembly instructions for re-installation.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and safety of your bunk bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Fastener Checks: Periodically (e.g., monthly) check all bolts, screws, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary. Loose fasteners can compromise the bed's stability and safety.
- Structural Integrity: Inspect the bed frame for any signs of damage, bending, or cracks. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Moving the Bed: When moving the bed, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the frame and floor.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your bunk bed, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bed feels wobbly or unstable. | Loose fasteners. | Check and tighten all bolts and screws. Ensure the bed is on a level surface. |
