1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

• Do not load the bed with more than 300 kg (660 lbs). Exceeding this weight limit can compromise the bed's structural integrity.
• Handle all components with care to avoid injuries from potential sharp edges during unpacking and assembly.
• Ensure all parts are assembled correctly and securely tightened to prevent instability and potential hazards.
• Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children to prevent choking hazards.

2. Product Overview and Dimensions

The LIVLUX upholstered bed features a hydraulic storage system, integrated LED lighting, USB charging ports, and headboard storage. Below are the general dimensions of the bed frame.

3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly requires two people and approximately 3-4 hours. Ensure all parts are present before beginning. Refer to the included hardware and component list.

1. Assemble the Main Bed Frame: Follow the detailed instructions provided with the parts to construct the primary bed frame. Ensure all connections are finger-tight before final tightening.
2. Attach the Headboard: Secure the headboard to the main frame using the supplied screws and dowels. Verify that the headboard is firmly attached and aligned.
3. Check Stability: Once the main frame and headboard are assembled, double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and the bed is stable.
4. Position the Slatted Base: Place the slatted base (if separate) onto the bed frame. Adjust it to fit perfectly within the frame. Ensure all slats are properly seated in their holders.
5. Install LED Lighting and Charging Ports: Follow the specific instructions for installing the LED lighting strip and connecting the USB charging ports. Ensure all cables are routed safely and securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 LED Lighting System

The integrated LED lighting system offers customizable ambiance for your bedroom. It can be controlled via a remote control or a dedicated mobile application.

• Color Options: Choose from millions of colors to match your mood or decor.
• Lighting Modes: Features 30 different lighting modes, including dynamic effects.
• Music & Microphone Modes: The lights can synchronize with music or ambient sounds detected by a microphone.
• Timer Function: Set a timer for the lights to turn on or off automatically.

4.2 USB Charging Ports

The headboard includes convenient USB-C ports for charging your electronic devices.

• Locate the USB-C ports on the side of the headboard.
• Connect your smartphone, tablet, or other compatible devices using a USB-C cable.
• Ensure the bed's power supply is connected for the charging ports to function.

4.3 Hydraulic Storage System

The bed features a hydraulic lift mechanism that provides access to a spacious storage compartment beneath the mattress.

• To access storage, gently lift the mattress frame from the foot end of the bed. The hydraulic pistons will assist in lifting and holding the frame in an open position.
• To close, push the mattress frame down firmly until it locks into place. Ensure no items are obstructing the closing mechanism.
• The storage area is ideal for bedding, seasonal clothing, or other items.

4.4 Headboard Storage Shelf

The headboard features a practical storage shelf at the top, perfect for keeping essential items within reach.

• Use the shelf for books, magazines, alarm clocks, or small electronic devices.
• Ensure items placed on the shelf are stable and do not obstruct the LED lighting or charging ports.

5. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your LIVLUX upholstered bed:

• Cleaning: Clean the upholstered surfaces with a dry cloth. For spills, gently blot with a clean, damp cloth and allow to air dry. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Frame Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
• Slats: Ensure the wooden slats are properly positioned and not damaged. Replace any broken slats promptly to maintain mattress support.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your LIVLUX upholstered bed, refer to the following common solutions:

• Difficulty with Assembly: If assembly seems complex, review the instruction manual carefully. Ensure all parts are correctly identified and oriented. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.
• Hydraulic Lift Not Functioning: Ensure the hydraulic pistons are correctly installed and not obstructed. The hydraulic system requires the weight of a mattress to function optimally; it may not move freely without a mattress.
• LED Lights Not Working or Incorrect Colors: Verify that the power supply for the LED lights is properly connected. If the remote control colors do not match the light output, try replacing the remote's battery or re-pairing the remote according to the LED system's specific instructions.
• Missing or Damaged Parts: If any parts are missing or damaged upon arrival, contact LIVLUX customer support immediately for assistance and replacement parts.
• Mattress Fit Issues: Ensure your mattress dimensions match the bed frame's specified size (140x200 cm). Slight variations in mattress manufacturing can occur.
• No Bottom for Storage Compartment: Please note that the storage compartment typically uses a fabric base that rests on the floor, rather than a rigid bottom panel. This design is common for maximizing storage flexibility.
