2. Product Overview and Components
The Commowner Electric Pressure Washer is designed for efficient cleaning of various surfaces. Familiarize yourself with its components before assembly and operation.
Included Components:
- Commowner Electric Pressure Washer Unit
- 33ft Pressure Hose
- Detergent Tank (Foam Cannon)
- Garden Adapter
- 4 Quick-Connect Nozzles (0°, 15°, 25°, 40°)
- Cleaning Pin
- Welcome Guide

3. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your pressure washer for first use.
- Assemble the Unit: Attach the handle and wheels (if not pre-assembled) according to the welcome guide.
- Connect the High-Pressure Hose: Securely connect one end of the 33ft pressure hose to the pressure washer outlet and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Connect the Water Supply:
- From a Faucet: Attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the pressure washer's water inlet using the provided garden adapter. Connect the other end of the garden hose to a water faucet.
- From a Bucket (Dual Water Source): For situations without a direct faucet connection, the unit can draw water from a bucket. Ensure the bucket is placed at a level equal to or higher than the pressure washer for optimal performance.

Image 3.1: The pressure washer supports dual water sources, allowing connection to a faucet or drawing water from a bucket. - Select and Attach a Nozzle: Choose the appropriate quick-connect nozzle for your task (see Section 4 for nozzle guide). Pull back the collar on the spray gun's quick-connect fitting, insert the nozzle, and release the collar to lock it in place.
- Fill Detergent Tank (Optional): If using the foam cannon, fill it with an appropriate pressure washer detergent. Attach the foam cannon to the spray gun's quick-connect fitting.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
Once set up, follow these steps to operate your Commowner Electric Pressure Washer.
- Turn on Water Supply: Fully open the water faucet to ensure a steady flow to the pressure washer.
- Purge Air from System: Before turning on the power, squeeze the spray gun trigger for about 30 seconds to allow water to flow through the pump and hose, expelling any trapped air.
- Power On: Turn the pressure washer's power switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start.
- Begin Cleaning: Aim the spray gun at the surface to be cleaned, maintaining a safe distance. Squeeze the trigger to start the high-pressure spray.
- Nozzle Selection Guide: The pressure washer includes four quick-connect nozzles, each designed for specific cleaning tasks.

Image 4.1: The four quick-connect nozzles and their recommended applications. - 0° (Red) Nozzle: Delivers a concentrated, high-pressure stream for dissolving stubborn substances and caked stains in cracks. Use with extreme caution.
- 15° (Yellow) Nozzle: Provides a high-pressure, narrow fan spray for concrete, brick, and other hard surfaces.
- 25° (Green) Nozzle: Offers a medium-pressure, wider fan spray suitable for wood decks, siding, and general cleaning.
- 40° (White) Nozzle: Produces a low-pressure, wide fan spray for fragile surfaces like windows, screens, and vehicles.
- Using the Foam Cannon: If using detergent, attach the foam cannon. The foam cannon produces rich bubbles for effective cleaning, especially for vehicles.

Image 4.2: The foam cannon attachment is ideal for car washing, producing rich foam for thorough cleaning. - After Use: Release the trigger, engage the safety lock, and turn off the power switch. Turn off the water supply. Squeeze the trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system before disconnecting hoses.

5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.
- Nozzle Cleaning: If a nozzle becomes clogged, use the provided cleaning pin to clear any debris from the nozzle opening.
- Water Inlet Filter: Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
- Hose Storage: After each use, drain all water from the pressure hose and coil it neatly on the integrated hose reel.
- Winter Storage: If storing in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, drain all water from the pump, hoses, and spray gun to prevent damage from freezing. Consider using a pump protector.
- General Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your pressure washer.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Motor does not start | No power supply; Power switch off; Thermal overload activated | Check power connection; Turn power switch ON; Allow motor to cool down |
| Low pressure or no pressure | Insufficient water supply; Clogged nozzle; Air in pump; Leaks in hose connections | Ensure water faucet is fully open; Clean nozzle with cleaning pin; Purge air from system (see Setup); Tighten all hose connections |
| Water leaks from connections | Loose connections; Damaged O-rings | Tighten all connections; Replace damaged O-rings |
| Motor stops during operation | Total Stop System (TSS) activated; Thermal overload; Low voltage | This is normal when trigger is released; Allow motor to cool; Check power supply voltage |
Note on Pressure Rating: The machine's pressure rating is the maximum value obtained through testing in a controlled laboratory environment. In actual use, factors such as faucet location, hose length, and nozzle type may cause variations in observed pressure.
