This manual provides instructions for the TiMOVO AZERTY Bluetooth keyboard, designed for use with Microsoft Surface Pro devices. It features a built-in trackpad and a pen holder for enhanced productivity.

Note: This keyboard is an AZERTY French layout. It is not fully compatible with other input methods. Please ensure your device is one of the listed compatible models before use.

• Surface Pro 5 (2017)

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the keyboard's charging port and to a USB power source. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect the keyboard to your Microsoft Surface Pro:

1. Ensure the keyboard is charged and powered on.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your Surface Pro.
3. On the keyboard, press the Bluetooth pairing button (refer to the keyboard layout for exact location, usually indicated by a Bluetooth icon). The indicator light will flash, signifying it is in pairing mode.
4. On your Surface Pro, search for available Bluetooth devices. Select the TiMOVO keyboard from the list.
5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light on the keyboard will stop flashing once successfully paired.

Note: The keyboard operates wirelessly via Bluetooth. If your device does not have built-in Bluetooth, an additional Bluetooth adapter will be required. The effective Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (32.8 feet).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Typing Angles

The keyboard offers two primary typing angles for ergonomic comfort:

• Fold Magnetic Stripe: Allows the keyboard to be slightly elevated for a more comfortable typing posture.
• Attach Directly: The keyboard lies flat against the Surface Pro for a compact setup.

5.2 Keyboard Features

The keyboard features an AZERTY layout with scissor-switch keys, providing a stable structure and short keycaps for efficient and quiet typing.

5.3 Trackpad Functions

The integrated trackpad offers precise control and supports various gestures:

• Large Trackpad: Provides ample space for precise cursor control.
• Palm Rejection: Designed to prevent accidental touches while typing.
• Multi-touch Gestures: Supports various multi-touch gestures for convenient navigation (specific gestures depend on your Surface Pro's operating system settings).

Note: A digital pen is not included with this keyboard.

5.4 Auto-sleep Function

To conserve battery life, the keyboard features an intelligent auto-sleep function. If left unused for 10 minutes, the keyboard will automatically enter sleep mode. To wake it up, simply press any key.

The keyboard is also designed to automatically turn on when the tablet is positioned vertically, assuming it's connected and in range.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your TiMOVO keyboard, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the keyboard surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, store the keyboard in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and excessive humidity.
• Handling: Avoid dropping the keyboard or subjecting it to strong impacts. Do not place heavy objects on it.
• Liquid Exposure: Keep the keyboard away from liquids. In case of accidental spills, immediately power off the keyboard and allow it to dry completely before attempting to use it again.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TiMOVO keyboard, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth:
  • Ensure the keyboard is charged and powered on.
  • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your Surface Pro.
  • Place the keyboard within 10 meters of your Surface Pro.
  • Try unpairing and re-pairing the keyboard in your Surface Pro's Bluetooth settings.
  • Restart both the keyboard and your Surface Pro.
• Keys not responding:
  • Check if the keyboard is properly connected via Bluetooth.
  • Ensure the keyboard battery is not depleted.
  • If specific keys are not working, check for any physical obstructions or debris.
• Trackpad not working:
  • Ensure the keyboard is connected.
  • Check your Surface Pro's settings to ensure the trackpad is enabled.
  • Clean the trackpad surface for any dirt or smudges.
• Keyboard enters sleep mode too quickly/not waking up:
  • The auto-sleep function activates after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any key to wake it.
  • Ensure the keyboard has sufficient battery charge.
