Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your steamer:
- Empty Water Tank: After each use, always empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent stagnant water and mineral buildup.
- Clean Steam Head: Wipe the steam head with a soft, damp cloth to remove any residue.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, descale the steamer every 3-6 months. Fill the water tank with a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Run the steamer until half the solution is used, then turn it off and let it sit for 30 minutes. Finish steaming the remaining solution, then rinse the tank and run two full tanks of fresh water through the steamer to clear any vinegar residue.
- Storage: Store the steamer in a cool, dry place. Ensure the water tank is empty and the hose is not kinked.
