Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA (R03/UM-4) batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Important: Do not use new and old batteries together, or different kinds of batteries together. Remove batteries when not using the air conditioner for a long time.

Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly towards the air conditioner signal receiver when operating.

Basic Functions:

  • ON/OFF Button: Press to turn the air conditioner unit on or off.
  • MODE Button: Cycles through operating modes (e.g., Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan, Auto).
  • TEMP ▲/▼ Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature setting.
  • FAN SPEED Button: Adjusts the fan speed (e.g., Auto, Low, Med, Hi).
  • AIR FLOW Button: Controls the direction or swing of the air flow.

Advanced Functions:

  • HI POWER Button: Activates a powerful cooling/heating mode for rapid temperature change.
  • ECONO Button: Engages energy-saving operation mode.
  • TIMER (ON/OFF) Buttons: Sets the timer for automatic power on or off. Use the TEMP ▲/▼ buttons to adjust the time.
  • SLEEP Button: Activates sleep mode, which adjusts temperature and fan speed for comfortable sleep.
  • CLEAN Button: Initiates a self-cleaning function for the indoor unit (if supported by the air conditioner).
  • ACL Button: Used for resetting the remote or setting the time.

Setting the Time:

When setting the time, press the [ACL] button, then press the [TEMP] buttons to set the desired time, and finally press the [ON/OFF] button to confirm.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

Replace batteries when the remote control's display becomes dim or the unit does not respond consistently. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section for detailed steps.

Cleaning:

Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface or internal components.

Storage:

If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding:
    • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
