5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The HABOTEST HT633 requires 3x1.5V batteries for operation. To install or replace batteries:

5.2 Powering On/Off

6.2 Measuring Ambient Temperature and Humidity
The device automatically displays ambient temperature and relative humidity on the upper part of the LCD screen when powered on.
- To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature, press the °C/°F button.

6.3 Using MAX/MIN Function
Press the MAX/MIN button to view the maximum or minimum moisture reading recorded during a measurement session. Press again to cycle through MAX, MIN, and current readings.
6.4 Data Hold Function
Press the H button to freeze the current reading on the display. This is useful for recording measurements in hard-to-reach areas. Press the H button again to release the hold function.
7. Measurement Categories
The HABOTEST HT633 offers multiple material categories (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J) to ensure accurate moisture measurement for different types of wood and building materials. These categories are typically pre-calibrated for specific material densities and compositions.
To select a category, press the M button repeatedly until the desired category is displayed. Refer to the device's internal material index or a separate reference chart (if provided with the product) to match the category letter with your specific material type.

8. Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning
Wipe the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the measurement pins are clean and free of debris after each use.
8.2 Storage
When not in use, always replace the protective cap over the measurement pins. Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

- Pins Not Penetrating Material: Ensure the material is not excessively hard. Do not force the pins, as this may damage them or the device.
