1. Safety Information

3. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the hair straightener and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components are present: the straightener, heat-resistant glove, and silicone mat pouch.
2. Inspect: Check the appliance and power cord for any visible damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Placement: Place the straightener on a flat, heat-resistant surface, such as the provided silicone mat, away from water and flammable materials.
4. Plug In: Insert the power plug into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V). The LED display will show "OFF".
5. Power On: Press and hold the power button (located on the side) for 2 seconds to turn on the appliance. The LED display will illuminate and show the default temperature.

4. Operating Instructions

Before styling, ensure your hair is clean, dry, and detangled. For best results and hair protection, apply a heat protectant spray.

Temperature Guidelines:

• 320°F - 360°F: For delicate or color-treated hair.
• 380°F - 410°F: For normal textured hair.
• 430°F - 450°F: For thick or wavy hair.

To Straighten Hair:

1. Divide your hair into small, manageable sections (about 1-2 inches wide).
2. Take one section of hair and place it between the heating plates, close to the roots.
3. Gently clamp the plates together and glide the straightener slowly down the hair section from roots to ends. Avoid stopping in one place to prevent heat damage.
4. Repeat on the same section if necessary, but typically one pass is sufficient for effective straightening due to the ionic technology.
5. Continue with the remaining sections until all hair is straightened.

To Curl Hair:

1. Divide your hair into small, manageable sections.
2. Take one section of hair and clamp the straightener near the roots.
3. Rotate the straightener 180 degrees away from your face, so the hair is wrapped around the outside of the barrel.
4. Slowly glide the straightener down the hair section, maintaining the rotation. The slower you glide, the tighter the curl.
5. Release the hair and allow the curl to cool before touching it to set the style.
6. Repeat on the remaining sections.

5. Maintenance

1. Cleaning: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Gently wipe the ceramic plates with a soft cloth to remove any product residue.
2. Storage: After use, unplug the straightener and allow it to cool down completely. Use the provided heat-resistant silicone mat pouch for safe storage. The straightener features a locking mechanism to keep the plates closed for compact storage; slide the lock button near the cord to engage/disengage.
3. Cord Care: Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance, as this can damage the cord. Store the cord loosely coiled.
